Become a Friend of MMHA!

For anyone who wants to affiliate themselves with MMHA, and offer financial support by registering as a member.  This type of membership is considered a "donation" and therefore is tax deductible. When you choose to make a donation, you may choose to have your name added to the Friends of MMHA page along with a message about why you chose to give or what you hope MMHA may accomplish.

Benefits of becoming a Friend of MMHA:

  • Opportunity to donate to a good cause (tax deductible).
  • Opportunity to become involved in much needed community volunteer work.  
  • Discount on attending the Annual Conference and other trainings. 
  • Increased awareness of Mental Health issues within the Mormon community.  
  • Opportunity to approach Board of Directors with projects or ideas that we could partner with and see to fruition.  
  • Ability to advertise workshops, publications, resources, etc. that align with the mission statement and positions of MMHA.



Clinical Membership: $40

Clinical members are licensed mental health professionals, in good standing with their state licensing boards who are looking to be included in the referral list of this site.  They are in agreement with the MMHA mission statement/goals and are willing to abide by MMHA's Code of Ethics.  

Benefits of Clinical Membership:

  • If practitioner agrees to terms, their practice information can be included in the Referral List
  • Access to Members Forum where one can collaborate and network with other professional members. 
  • Ability to advertise workshops, trainings, publications, job opportunities, and other resources.
  • Discount on attending the Annual Conference and other trainings.
  • Participate in elections of board members with the option of running for positions.



Educator Membership: $40

Educator members are professionals in good standing with their state or accreditation boards who are looking to be included in the referral list of this site.  They are willing to abide (as applicable) by the MMHA's Code of Ethics. These could include, but not limited to, professors, teachers, life coaches, authors, administrators, lawyers, doctors, etc.  

Benefits of Educator Membership:
  • Information Included in the Educator Directory
  • Access to Members Forum
  • Ability to advertise workshops, training, publications, and other resources.
  • Discount on attending the Annual Conference and other trainings.








Student/Intern Membership: $25

Student/Intern members are those working towards becoming a licensed mental health professional and currently find themselves in either student or intern status. One is eligible for this membership price for two years after graduating from their graduate programs. 

Benefits of Student/Intern Membership

  • Part of Student/Intern directory to aid in networking opportunities.  
  • Access to Members Forum where one can collaborate and network with other professional members.
  • Ability to advertise workshops, research, publications, access to job  opportunity announcements, etc. 
  • Discount on attending the Annual Conference.
  • Participate in elections of board members.  Be represented by a student/intern board member.  Have the option to run for this position.  
  • Possible mentor opportunities.
