Research interest in the development and evaluation of behavioral interventions to reduce health disparities in respiratory diseases and secondhand smoke exposure.
Doctoral candidate in Communication Studies at the Ohio University in Athens, OH. Research focus is found where religious faith and community intersect with mental wellness. Studying dialogues between spiritual advisors and parishioners who come to them for support for mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, etc. Interested in iterviewing mental health care professionals on the role their own and their clients' faith plays in mental world-building and healing. Qualitative scholar with strong philosophical roots in the narrative and autoethnographic research traditions.
